I am Mehmed Tahir Yıldız.

Adana is my starting point — my anchor. I look at the world from here. In a minimal, high-contrast language. Quiet, but dense.

No one taught me. I started on my own. One day my hand drew something, then again, then I couldn't stop.

For over a decade I have been making. On canvas, paper, stone, and space. Every surface carries the same question for me: how much of what's inside can find its way out?

I work through intuition. Sometimes I don't fully know what I'm searching for — but when the work is done, I feel something has found its place.

Broken faces, shadows, intertwined forms, traces from nature… Every series is part of a search. Behind every piece, the same drive: to make the invisible visible.

Art and design are not separate disciplines for me — they are different forms of the same language. A painting, an object, a space — all carry the same hand, the same silence.

Mehmedtahir brings this language to life through original works, prints, design objects, and spatial projects.
